You've found the hidden area! Good for you! I don't know what else to say!
PORTRAIT ALIX WELTER
Born in Liège in 1984, I studied Architecture at the Institute Saint Luc Liège de Wallonie, graduating in 2007.
I developed series of furniture in parallel to collaborations in the field of architecture.
The most significant architectural collaboration is with the Atelier d’Architecture Beguin-Massart with whom I take part in various projects from public to private.

Considering that the architecture and design have in common certain objectives and constraints, furniture design is a way to question perpetually materials, forms and functions and to always be in search. I develop my projects spontaneously, but they can also result from a specific command. At this scale, I always impose other constraints such as field of experimentation.
The idea is to develop a sustainable design, affordable, and alive. I also try to propose simple and innovative solutions.
In the collections that I’m currently developing, ranging from wooden or steel furniture to objects, the participation of the user in setting up the objects is fundamental because it allows him to comprehend the origins and the design becomes a game.

I could tell you a lot about myself and my vision of what i’m doing, but i don’t like so much to speak alone. So, don’t hesitate to contact me to go further in the discussion.

The best is yet to come.
